Chapter 103
"Mr. Sullivan!"
Vivian Bennett instinctively stepped back.
Liam Sullivan's gaze turned icy cold.
"Do not call me that."
She was startled by his sudden anger.
Her long lashes fluttered slightly.
She didn't understand what she had said wrong.
The rough tree bark pressed against her back.
His tall figure loomed over her, radiating intense pressure.
Vivian felt her breath catch.
She forced herself to appear calm and managed a faint smile.
"Did you need something?"
"Why did you say you were my subordinate earlier?" Liam leaned closer, his dark eyes unfathomable.
Vivian found it almost amusing.
"Am I not?"
Liam's expression darkened.
"We agreed you would be my girlfriend for three months."
Vivian sighed helplessly.
"That was a private arrangement. Did you want everyone to know?"
Especially his sister with her taboo inclinations.
He probably wouldn't want that.
She was completely considering his position.
"Why not?" Liam stared at her fiercely, an inexplicable fury rising in his chest.
She didn't want to go public?
Was he that embarrassing?
Or had she always planned to leave after three months?
Vivian froze, looking at him in disbelief.
"You..."
Liam gripped her chin, his gaze sharp.
"You thought I only wanted three months?"
Vivian blinked in confusion.
"Didn't you say you wanted me to ward off your admirers?"
Was there another meaning?
Liam's jaw tightened, suppressing his anger.
"Listen. I don't need to ward off admirers. I just want you to be my girlfriend."
His forever girlfriend.
He wanted her.
Vivian met his burning gaze, her heart suddenly racing.
Did he mean it had been an excuse from the very beginning?
Vivian remained silent for a moment before speaking softly.
"Then I won't do it..."
Those words completely enraged Liam.
Before she could finish, he closed the distance between them.
Sensing his dangerous aura, Vivian panicked.
"What are you doing? Let me go..."
Liam focused on her lush lips and suddenly dipped his head to bite them.
"Ah..."
Vivian gasped in pain, her brows furrowing tightly.
Liam didn't continue.
He lifted her chin, forcing her to look directly at him.
Seeing her reddened eyes, his tone unconsciously softened.
"Did it hurt?"
Vivian's eyes widened, her cheeks flushed with indignation.
"Let me bite you and see how it feels?"
Liam looked at her flushed cheeks, a slight smile touching his lips.
"Fine. Bite me anywhere you want."
He moved his entire face closer to hers.
