Chapter 12
Vivian's mind buzzed.
An electric current shot through her entire body.
She raised her hands to push against his hard chest.
"Don't touch me..."
Liam Sullivan released her lips, his breathing heavy.
His large palm roamed freely over her body.
He had become addicted after tasting her just once.
These past days, that night constantly replayed in his mind.
He remembered the sensation damn well.
He wanted more.
"Don't want what?"
His gaze was dark and intense, displeased by her resistance.
"Don't want me? Or don't want the thirty million?"
Vivian really wanted to tell him to get lost.
Who cared about his money.
But remembering he was her ultimate boss, she held back.
A faint smile touched her red lips. "A man like you could have any beauty. Why choose someone like me? I'm not worthy of you."
She spoke sincerely, her refusal clear and direct.
Liam's handsome face darkened.
A shadow passed through his eyes.
"Not enough money?"
His arm tightened, pulling her closer.
Vivian sighed helplessly. "It's not about the money!"
Liam increased his offer immediately. "Fifty million. Marry me."
Vivian gave a bitter smile. "Even a hundred million is too much for me."
Liam fell silent.
She was smiling, but her eyes were cold.
She was truly refusing him.
His gaze deepened as he pulled her tighter.
His thin lips brushed her ear. "Two hundred million. Can you handle that now?"
His voice was low and husky, his warm breath flooding her ear.
Vivian trembled slightly.
She looked at his perfect face up close.
He was actually trying to seduce her with his charm.
Fortunately, her willpower was strong.
Vivian mimicked him, bringing her red lips close to his ear. "When I want it, I'll come find you. How about that?"
It was still a refusal.
Anger flared in Liam's eyes.
This was the first time he had been rejected.
He had offered his utmost sincerity, and she didn't appreciate it.
He lowered his head and bit her neck.
He left a mark as Vivian cried out in pain.
Vivian shivered from the pain.
She feared he would force himself on her.
She didn't understand what he saw in her, why he insisted on marriage.
But she could clearly feel his rage.
Liam gripped the back of her head, forcing her to look directly at him.
"Report to headquarters tomorrow. I'll be waiting!"
