Chapter 131

"Who said I'm scared?" Vivian straightened her back, forcing a fake smile at him.

She wouldn't give Zachary Hudson any leverage.

If this playboy knew she was afraid of snakes, who knew how he would torment her in the future.

She absolutely couldn't admit it.

"Really not scared?" Zachary raised an eyebrow, a mocking smile playing on his lips. "Who was it that turned pale just now?"

"You saw wrong." Vivian feigned composure, glaring at him fiercely.

Zachary stared at her for a few seconds, then suddenly grinned mischievously. "Since you're not scared, you can take care of it for me tonight."

He placed the snake back on the bed as he spoke.

Vivian instantly jumped up, her face ashen.

"Take it away! Now!" she shrieked, her voice commanding.

Zachary laughed triumphantly.

"Keep pretending." He exposed her lie with glee.

Vivian gritted her teeth in anger. "Are you taking it away or not?"

Zachary sat down leisurely, crossing his legs. "Tell me, who was that man earlier?"

"None of your business!" Vivian shot back immediately.

Why should she explain her relationship with Brandon White to him?

"Fine, don't tell me." Zachary narrowed his eyes, his smile turning wicked. "It can keep you company tonight."

"You..." Vivian trembled with rage.

This man was utterly shameless!

The small snake suddenly slithered toward her.

Vivian screamed and dashed into the bathroom.

She slammed the door shut with a loud bang.

Frantically, she stuffed towels and tissues into the gaps under the door.

Only after confirming the snake couldn't get in did she collapse onto the floor.

Zachary actually came to knock on the door.

"Won't talk? Then I'm leaving."

"Don't you dare leave!" Vivian roared.

"Goodnight." Zachary bid farewell cheerfully.

His footsteps faded away, and the door clicked shut.

Vivian was about to explode.

This man was the absolute worst.

Using a snake to threaten her.

Was he even human?

She had been at his beck and call all day at the mall and hadn't eaten anything yet.

Exhausted and starving, she was now trapped in the bathroom.

Her phone was still outside.

She couldn't even call for help.

A long night began.

Because of that snake, Vivian didn't dare close her eyes all night.

Early the next morning, Zachary finally came to collect his pet.

"Ten minutes to get ready. Come downstairs for breakfast." He glanced at his diamond watch. "We're going to a business meeting in twenty minutes."

Vivian's mouth twitched.

This demon didn't even give her a moment to catch her breath.

But she was his "assistant" now.

Suppressing her anger, Vivian walked into the bedroom to change.
