Chapter 198

Vivian Bennett turned at the sound.

Her bag was still on the nightstand.

She had to go back for it.

She grabbed it and rushed out of the room.

Zachary Hudson seemed to be calling after her.

She slammed the door shut.

Blocking out his voice.

Vivian dashed out of the hotel.

She ran down the street with her bag.

She didn't know what she was running from.

She just wanted to get away from that hotel.

As far away as possible.

Until she was completely exhausted.

She crouched down.

Covering her face, she sobbed loudly.

Why did this happen?

She thought the limousine night was already a nightmare.

She thought she wouldn't foolishly lose her innocence again.

But last night she was with Zachary Hudson...

Vivian's heart was breaking.

If it had been voluntary, that would be one thing.

But she was drugged by Brandon White.

Both times she lost her purity.

It was related to Brandon White.

She hated him to the core.

...

Vivian arrived at the company long after she was due.

She was surprised to find no one noticed her lateness.

The office atmosphere was no longer tense.

Colleagues from the PR department were chatting in small groups.

"Vivian, you're finally here!"

Emily Davis spotted her and waved.

Vivian hadn't slept all night and had been entangled with Zachary Hudson this morning.

She was utterly exhausted and listless.

She nodded weakly.

Emily looked at her with concern. "What's wrong?"

She looked pale, as if she had been crying.

"Nothing, I just didn't sleep well last night," Vivian explained flatly.

Emily suddenly smiled. "I have good news that will cheer you up."

Vivian looked up immediately. "A raise?"

"Ah, don't think about money all the time. How vulgar," Emily said helplessly.

Vivian shrugged. "What else should I think about?"

"Fun!" Emily winked. "Tomorrow the company is organizing a trip to Aspen Hot Springs for the PR and marketing departments!"

Sullivan Group employee benefits were always generous.

They regularly organized inter-departmental bonding activities.

This time it was the PR and marketing departments' turn.

Emily had wanted to go to Aspen Hot Springs for a long time.

It was a newly developed, pure natural fee-based scenic area.

Although it was already open, it currently only catered to the upper class.

The fees were extremely high, beyond what ordinary people could afford.

But it was said to be like heaven, with beautiful scenery.

Tomorrow's trip was company-funded, with all expenses covered.

For colleagues in the PR and marketing departments, it was undoubtedly wonderful news.

The entire department had been unable to focus on work since the announcement this morning.
