Chapter 203
Vivian Bennett took a deep breath, trying to calm her emotions.
She forced herself to appear composed as she looked at Liam Sullivan. "Mr. Sullivan, we were never from the same world. Since the agreement has been terminated, please don't bother me anymore."
Liam's gaze turned icy, anger swirling in his eyes.
His jaw tightened, his features sharp and severe.
"Don't bother you?" He let out a cold laugh. "Who was it that approached whom first?"
He would always remember that night.
She was the one who got into his car.
If not for that night, he wouldn't have been unable to forget her.
Vivian froze.
She shook her head in confusion. "When did I ever approach you? I don't remember..."
Could there be some misunderstanding?
She recalled the first time she saw him at the branch company.
Did he think she had ulterior motives just because she was distracted and didn't hear his question clearly?
"Just because you don't remember doesn't mean it didn't happen." Liam's voice was cold and heavy. "Just like us now—we can never go back to the beginning."
"Liam, just let me go." Vivian's voice held a pleading tone. "I just want to be an ordinary employee and live an ordinary life."
She never intended to attach herself to a man like him.
She only wanted simple,ordinary days.
Why did he always have to force his way into her world?
Liam looked at her pale face and finally softened.
He pulled her into his arms. "Do you really not want anything to do with me?"
Vivian panic leaned against his chest, nodding repeatedly.
Liam's eyes darkened, and he suddenly swept her up into his arms.
"Ah!" Vivian cried out in surprise, struggling fiercely. "Let me go! Where are you taking me?"
"Keep shouting if you're not afraid of being seen." His voice was gentle but carried a threat.
Vivian immediately fell silent.
If colleagues saw her entangled with the boss, who knew what rumors would spread.
She couldn't draw attention to herself.
But she didn't want to be carried like this either.
He was the one who said the agreement was void.
"Liam, you bastard!" She was so angry she couldn't think straight. "You only know how to use force with me!"
Liam watched her look of grievance and anger, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly. "If you don't want to be treated like this, then behave."
Vivian's heart sank.
Beyond the Peach Grove was a crowd of people.
If colleagues saw them, how could she continue working at Sullivan Group?
No one would dare to gossip about him as the CEO, but what about her?
