Chapter 458

Vivian Bennett looked at Prince Dacia with a grave expression.

She spoke each word clearly. "He is more terrifying than a terrorist."

Prince Dacia's face instantly paled.

He stumbled back several steps, eyeing Liam Sullivan with deep wariness.

Vivian sighed softly.

"Prince Dacia, we merely crossed paths by chance."

"I know you enjoy making friends, but a friend like me will only bring you trouble."

"Please don't contact me again."

"After we leave this country, we won't see each other again."

"But I will remember you as a friend."

Prince Dacia looked at her with genuine regret.

He was naturally open-minded and respected others' choices.

"You are a remarkable woman. I will remember you too."

He turned to Liam, his tone firm. "Treat her well."

"I've never seen a woman who carries such sorrow even in her moments of joy."

"She must have endured immense pain. You shouldn't cause her more."

Liam arched an arrogant brow. "I don't need you to teach me how to act."

Prince Dacia shrugged and walked away.

Liam turned his gaze to Vivian.

She was watching Prince Dacia's retreating figure.

"Protecting him so fiercely?" He sneered. "Drawing such a clear line so quickly. Afraid I'll harm him?"

Vivian met his eyes directly. "He is a good man."

"I don't want to drag him into this abyss."

Liam let out a dismissive snort. "In your eyes, everyone else is good. Only I am the villain?"

"Isn't that true?"

"It doesn't matter." Liam lowered his gaze. "At least I am the most special one."

"A man who isn't ruthless enough could never keep you."

Vivian glared at him. "You're so good at justifying yourself."

She shook off his hand and walked straight out.

A car was already waiting outside.

They got in and headed towards the downtown Government Complex.

This meeting was an officially organized event.

After getting out of the car, Vivian couldn't help but smile.

"Goodbye." She waved her work pass. "You can't get in without this."

"You'll have to wait outside."

She finally managed to one-up him, and it felt incredibly satisfying.

Liam saw right through her.

He got out of the car, closed the distance, and captured her lips in a fierce kiss.

"Goodbye." He released her, a teasing glint in his eyes.

Vivian watched him walk towards a café and couldn't resist calling out. "Will you wait until the meeting is over?"

The meeting would last several hours.

Liam glanced back with a smile. "What do you think?"

Vivian bit her lip. "Hmph, suit yourself."

"If I don't see you when I come out, I'll just go back to the hotel and eat by myself."

"I won't let you have dinner alone." Liam waved his hand and walked away.

Vivian stared at his retreating back, momentarily lost in thought.

She shook her head and entered the building.

The meeting was held on the sixth floor.

The spacious conference room was filled with experts from around the world.
