Chapter 471

Vivian Bennett’s delicate brows furrowed tightly as she glared fiercely at the shameless man before her.

“Who wants to hear your nonsense?”

She bit her lip, her gaze piercing directly into his deep eyes.

“Did you really not touch her?”

Liam Sullivan’s jawline tightened abruptly.

“You thought I touched her, so you left without a word for so long?”

A sharp pain twisted in Vivian’s heart.

“If you really touched another woman, and that woman is your nominal sister, how much would that hurt me? Shouldn’t I have left?”

Liam felt as if his heart was being brutally squeezed.

All suspicion, resentment, and distrust vanished in an instant.

Only overwhelming heartache and regret remained.

He pulled her forcefully into his arms, refusing to let go no matter how she struggled.

“It’s my fault, all my fault.”

His voice was hoarse and filled with endless tenderness.

“I didn’t explain things to you in time, and I made you suffer so much grievance.”

All his pride crumbled at this moment.

Completely defeated by her scalding tears.

Right now, he only wanted to hold her tightly and soothe her pain.

“Let me go.”

Vivian struggled fiercely a few times but couldn’t break free from his restraint.

Her grievances turned into fists, pounding against his solid chest.

“I won’t let go.”

He tightened his arms instead, pressing her deeper into his embrace.

He lowered his head and gently kissed her damp hair.

Vivian was both angry and heartbroken, her fists falling heavier.

“Let go! We haven’t settled our accounts yet!”

Her voice was tearful but stubborn.

“Don’t think I’ll forgive you just like this! Even if you didn’t touch Isabella Sullivan, you still kissed other women before, forced me time and again… You bastard! I hate you! I hate you to death! Why did you have to make me feel so awful?”

The thought of him kissing someone else made bitterness surge wildly.

This kind of betrayal was unbearable to her.

Just imagining him being intimate with others was enough to shatter her heart.

Liam endured her pounding, his chest aching from the blows.

This woman really showed no mercy.

But he deserved it.

In love, a man should protect the woman he loves and shelter her from storms.

Yet he had made her suffer endless grievances.

“It’s all my fault, alright?”

He softened his voice, his palm gently stroking her trembling back.

Trying to calm her agitated emotions.

Vivian clutched the fabric of his shirt, tears flooding out.

“It was your fault all along! Making me so sad… Forcing me, threatening me, hurting me… The most despicable thing is, when I finally started to like you, you actually cheated…”

The more she spoke, the sadder she became.

This relationship had brought her nothing but pain and grievance.

Liam sighed helplessly, a bitter smile touching his lips.

“I admit to all the previous mistakes, but this last one, I can’t admit.”

“You did it and still won’t admit it!” Vivian punched him again.

“The facts are what they are, how can I admit it?” Liam looked at her helplessly. “I clearly didn’t cheat, what do you want me to admit?”

Vivian’s eyes widened in anger.

“You still dare to quibble? That time in the garden at the banquet, I saw you holding a woman and kissing her! How long had you known her before you started kissing? Do you even have any bottom line? You can’t deny this, I saw it with my own eyes!”

She accused him righteously, growing angrier the more she thought about it.

She danced with a prince, spoke with a man, and he watched her like a hawk.

But then he turned around and casually kissed another woman.

Just thinking about it made her suffocate with pain.

At least she wouldn’t casually kiss someone.

Liam’s temples glistened with fine sweat as he rubbed them helplessly.

“This matter… there’s actually a misunderstanding.”
