Chapter 572

"Why did you come here all of a sudden?"

Liam Sullivan walked over to her, his gaze settling on Vivian Bennett's face.

Vivian stared at him for a few seconds without immediately answering.

Liam noticed her stare and lifted his eyes to meet hers.

His deep black pupils were like whirlpools, mesmerizing and dangerous, pulling her in with a magnetic force.

His thin lips parted slightly. "Hmm?"

Vivian suddenly snapped back to reality, clearing her throat awkwardly.

She leaned close to Liam's ear, lowering her voice. "I just realized you're even more captivating than I imagined."

After saying this, she blushed first.

The moment Liam walked out of the company building, a powerful feeling surged within her.

It was him.

The man she wanted to entrust her life to, the one she wanted to stay by forever.

This feeling was more exhilarating than being in love, warming her heart beyond her control.

Liam studied her slightly flushed cheeks.

Logically, hearing the woman he loved call him captivating should have made him happy.

But instead, a strange, indescribable feeling suddenly arose in his heart.

Liam suddenly looked at her with a serious expression. "You're being improper."

Vivian was speechless.

"Let's go."

He opened the car door and got in, looking relaxed and content, a faint smile playing on his lips.

They got in the car but didn't head straight home.

Today they had gotten their marriage certificate, and they planned to celebrate properly tonight.

This Western restaurant was the most famous in Seattle, located on the top floor of a skyscraper in the city center.

The window seats offered a panoramic view of the city's nightscape.

The dazzling lights seemed to twinkle right beneath their eyes, giving a sense of looking down from a great height.

It was Vivian's first time at this restaurant, and she was captivated by the view outside.

But she was past the age of being curious about everything. After a moment of admiration, she settled down.

The ordered food arrived one after another.

The table was set with exquisite dishes and a romantic candle holder.

Vivian looked across the table at Liam sitting alone and suddenly raised an eyebrow.

She leaned forward slightly. "Don't you think this feels like a date?"

Liam glanced up at her calmly. "This is a date."

"Then where are the flowers?" Vivian lifted her chin. "How can it be a date without flowers?"

Vivian suddenly remembered that Liam had never given her roses before.

She wagged her index finger. "No flowers, I don't acknowledge this as a date."

Liam's brow furrowed slightly.

He remembered that whenever he came to this restaurant before, there were always people selling flowers here.

Since most patrons were romantic couples, flowers were an essential touch.

But today he had booked the entire place, so naturally, there were no flower sellers.

That was a pity.

Vivian noticed the change in his mood. "What's wrong?"
