Chapter 100

She looked every inch a wealthy matriarch.

Vivian Bennett watched as the manager, who had just been apologizing to her, suddenly brightened at the sight of the three newcomers.

He eagerly hurried over to greet them.

"Mrs. Eleanor Sullivan, Mr. Liam Sullivan, Miss Isabella Sullivan, welcome."

"Your private dining room is ready. Right this way, please..."

Vivian's expression darkened.

So the elderly lady beside Liam Sullivan was his grandmother, Eleanor Sullivan.

The private dining room she had reserved had been taken by these three.

No wonder the manager called them VIP guests.

How could ordinary people afford to offend them?

They could only obediently give up the room.

Vivian felt wronged, but she had to swallow her frustration.

Who asked her and her grandmother to lack the wealth and influence of the Sullivan family?

Vivian helped her grandmother step aside, waiting for them to enter the private room before leaving.

Liam first helped his grandmother into the private room and entrusted her to Isabella's care.

He turned and came back out, just as Vivian was about to lead her grandmother away.

He immediately asked the manager, "Are there any other private rooms available?"

The manager shook his head. "I'm truly sorry, there are none."

Liam walked over to Vivian and her grandmother.

After greeting them politely, he said to her, "Since there are no other rooms, why not join us?"

Seeing that they were acquainted, the manager quickly suggested, "Since you know Mr. Sullivan, miss, perhaps you would care to dine together?"

Vivian's expression was cool and detached. "Mr. Sullivan and I may be acquainted, but we move in different worlds."

"How could we possibly share a table?"

She made to leave after saying this.

Liam raised his hand as if to stop her, but upon seeing Vivian's grandmother, he ultimately refrained from insisting.

His gaze was somber as he watched them leave, his brow furrowed tightly.

"Arrange a private room for them. Immediately," Liam commanded the manager suddenly, his handsome face stern.

The manager looked troubled. "Mr. Sullivan, this..."

But under Liam's authoritative gaze, he had no choice but to agree. "Yes, sir. I'll see to it right away."

He had seriously misjudged the situation today.

He never imagined that Miss Bennett had this powerful man's backing.

Now he had to find a way to invite her back.

Liam withdrew his gaze and elegantly returned to the private room.

Isabella had already ordered, selecting all of Liam's favorite dishes according to their grandmother's wishes.

"Brother, would you like to order anything else?" Isabella obediently handed him the menu.

Liam's expression was indifferent. "No need."

Isabella awkwardly took back the menu and asked the server to bring the food.

"Liam, what kept you outside for so long just now?" Mrs. Eleanor Sullivan asked curiously.

Liam glanced at his grandmother and shook his head. "It was nothing."

He had originally intended to take this opportunity to introduce Vivian to his grandmother.

He wanted his grandmother to know he already had a girlfriend, so she would stop worrying about his marriage plans.

But Vivian seemed determined to distance herself from him today.

Both in the car and outside the private room.

She didn't treat him like a boyfriend at all.

Instead, she was as respectful as if he were her boss.

An indescribable frustration settled in Liam's heart.
