Chapter 196

Vivian Bennett had no more words to waste on him.

She just wanted to find her clothes and leave.

But after scanning the room, she couldn't see a single trace of her outfit.

She whirled around to glare at him. "Where are my clothes?"

Zachary Hudson dropped his playful expression. His intense gaze locked onto her. "I saved you last night. I stayed with you the entire night. And you're just going to leave like this?"

"What else?" Vivian retorted, annoyed.

"A little gratitude would be nice?" Zachary's lips curved into a smirk. Amusement flickered in his eyes.

Vivian clenched her fists. Anger surged in her chest.

This man took advantage of her and now he dared to ask for credit?

She really wanted to rush over and tear his handsome face apart.

But reason quickly suppressed the impulse.

Compared to being assaulted by Brandon White, at least Zachary wasn't that disgusting.

She could just treat it as a one-night stand.

She couldn't be bothered to argue anymore.

"I never asked you to save me last night. What happened, happened. What more do you want?" She raised an eyebrow, her voice cold.

Zachary propped himself up on one elbow, watching her. "What if I said I'm very interested in you? What if I want you to stay by my side?"

This wasn't the first time he had made such a request.

He had saved her more than once.

He thought she would agree this time.

"Sorry. I'm not interested." Vivian refused point-blank.

She walked to the phone and called room service.

"Please send a set of women's clothing to this room," she said calmly.

"I'm sorry, Miss..." The attendant's voice was cut off as Vivian angrily turned her gaze to the man on the bed.

Without Zachary's permission, even the attendant didn't dare enter this room.

What exactly did he want?

"What do you actually want?" She slammed the phone down and stormed over to the bed.

"Be my woman." Zachary made his demand again.

"Impossible." Vivian refused without mercy.

The air instantly froze.

Their eyes locked in a stalemate.

Zachary suddenly sat up and grabbed her hand. "Stay and sleep with me a while longer. I didn't rest well last night because of you. Then you woke me up first thing in the morning."

"I'm not here to sleep with you!" Vivian shook off his hand and stepped back.

She stared at him coldly. "Thank you for saving me last night. But you also took advantage of me. We're even."

"Fine. Not sleeping together is acceptable. But I spent the whole night with you. You can't just shirk all responsibility, can you?" Zachary narrowed his peach blossom eyes and suddenly asked.

Vivian was stunned.

She had never heard of a man demanding a woman take responsibility.

Especially a womanizer like him.

She couldn't help but sneer. "If every woman had to take responsibility for you, would you even have the time?"

Zachary played with her hand idly. "I don't care about others. I only want you to take responsibility."

"You!" Vivian's eyes widened in fury.
