Chapter 22
Vivian Bennett completed her onboarding procedures.
She walked briskly toward the public relations department.
She pushed open the conference room door.
Manager Thomas Carter was leading a meeting.
Vivian entered with Emily Davis.
Emily was the girl who had gossiped about Liam Sullivan during the interview.
They exchanged smiles.
They swapped contact information.
As newcomers, they needed to look out for each other.
Thomas had someone distribute meeting materials.
Vivian opened to the first page.
Her gaze froze.
The man in the photo looked extremely familiar.
Wasn't he that outrageous rich second-generation from the last blind date?
She couldn't remember his name.
But she remembered his words vividly.
"I don't plan to marry, but my family is eager for a grandson. If you're willing to be a housewife after marriage, ignore my affairs outside, and only focus on having children and caring for my parents, I might consider it..."
Vivian still found it laughable now.
The man practically treated his blind date as a breeding tool.
She had never met a man so disrespectful toward women.
She had rejected him on the spot.
He had left with a vicious threat. "You'll pay for today's rejection!"
Later, her cousin's husband, Jason Harper, had indeed flown into a rage.
He had stormed out, slamming the door.
If Liam Sullivan hadn't taken an interest in her, Jason would never have returned to apologize.
She and her cousin Grace had almost been ruined by this man.
The more Vivian thought about it, the angrier she became.
She continued reviewing the materials.
She was surprised to discover the man had significant connections.
He was actually the only son of the Hudson Group.
Notorious for his philandering ways.
His reputation with women was well-known.
Vivian understood immediately.
As the only son, his family was pressuring him to marry and have children.
But he hadn't had his fill of fun yet.
He wanted to continue his playboy lifestyle.
So his requirement for a marriage partner was that she couldn't interfere with his outside affairs.
Such an outrageous demand.
No wonder he couldn't find a suitable socialite from a similar background.
He had been reduced to going on a blind date with someone like her.
But she hadn't agreed either.
So what if he was a rich second-generation?
Marry her and still play around outside? In his dreams!
She could never accept a man like that.
Thomas's serious voice rang out. "Our next public relations target is Zachary Hudson! He has always been at odds with Mr. Sullivan. This contract has been stalled. Anyone who can handle Zachary Hudson and secure the contract will get double the commission and year-end bonus!"
Vivian's eyes lit up.
Handling this outrageous man meant double the money?
She was immediately interested.
The conference room buzzed with discussion.
"To handle Zachary Hudson, we need to send a beautiful woman. Everyone knows he loves beauties. He changes women faster than he changes clothes."
The public relations department did have quite a few beautiful women.
