Chapter 245

Vivian Bennett was taken aback, nearly choking.

She coughed violently.

Zachary Hudson’s lips curved into a faint, mocking smile.

“But I have zero interest in Liam Sullivan’s woman.”

Vivian had been slightly annoyed.

Hearing his words, she felt relieved instead.

It was best that he had no interest in her.

“By the way,” she suddenly remembered something and looked up.

“Who is the girl in that unedited photo in your room?”

Zachary’s peach blossom eyes darkened instantly.

His handsome face became unreadable.

“Why do you ask?”

“I’m curious,” Vivian shrugged.

“What’s there to be curious about?” Zachary narrowed his eyes.

“I saw a photo of her with Liam Sullivan at his house,” Vivian answered casually.

She then lowered her head to continue eating her porridge.

Completely unaware of the change in Zachary’s expression.

The atmosphere suddenly turned tense.

Zachary remained silent for a long time.

Vivian kept eating her breakfast, noticing nothing unusual.

After a while, she looked up again.

“Who exactly is this girl? What’s her relationship with you and Liam Sullivan?”

It was just an offhand question.

But Zachary’s expression changed instantly.

He immediately kicked her out of the villa.

Vivian was utterly shocked.

This man’s mood changed faster than flipping a page.

He just threw her out without hesitation.

Had she offended him?

It didn’t seem so.

She had only asked about the girl in the photo.

Zachary turned hostile immediately.

Clearly, that girl was his taboo.

It was better not to mention her again.

But then Vivian reconsidered.

It would be best if she never had to deal with a scoundrel like Zachary Hudson again.

The three-day deadline agreed upon with Liam Sullivan arrived quickly.

Liam had been waiting for her answer these past three days.

To accept him, or to let him continue waiting.

After work, Liam went to a flower shop first.

Then he drove to Vivian’s apartment complex.

After parking his car, he took the elevator upstairs.

Standing outside unit 1101, he held a specially ordered bouquet of red roses in one hand.

With his other hand, he pressed the doorbell.

The always composed CEO Liam Sullivan felt unusually nervous at this moment.

The doorbell rang while Vivian was preparing dinner in the kitchen.

Puzzled, she walked to the entryway and opened the door.

Under the bright hallway light stood the man in a tailored suit, handsome and arrogant.

Vivian stood by the entryway, momentarily dazed.

“Why are you here?”

Her words instantly cooled Liam’s hopeful mood.

The light in his eyes dimmed slightly.

She didn’t seem to anticipate their three-day agreement as much as he did.

Vivian didn’t notice the disappointment in his eyes.

Her mind was still preoccupied with whether to tell her cousin about the wealthy background of the mistress she had discovered.

“For you,” Liam handed her the red roses.

“Thank you,” Vivian took the flowers, her expression neutral.

“Come in.”

He was already here, and he brought flowers.

She couldn’t just shut him out.

Liam’s mood was clearly less sunny than when he arrived.
