Chapter 266
Liam Sullivan watched Vivian Bennett pacing anxiously.
A faint smile touched his lips.
His voice was deep and commanding.
"Don't strain that little head of yours."
"It's alright if you can't remember right now."
"I'll give you time to think it over slowly."
"If you still can't remember in a few days, I'll have to come collect my debt personally."
Vivian felt a pang of guilt at his words.
Her mind was foggy and her reactions slow.
She didn't know how to respond.
Liam's gaze fell on her.
The white towel did little to hide her lovely figure.
Her smooth shoulders and long legs tested his self-control.
He swallowed hard, gritting his teeth.
This little temptress.
She said no with her words, but dressed like this and paraded before him.
He was certain there was nothing beneath that towel.
Just as his thoughts wandered, a sharp ringtone pierced the air.
Seeing the caller ID, he answered immediately.
His voice was hoarse with displeasure. "Alexander, what is it?"
Vivian suddenly remembered Alexander Lowell.
The man with a cool demeanor.
She had only met him once, but he left a good impression.
He seemed the most upright among Liam's friends.
Liam ended the call and turned to her still form.
His tone softened. "Hangovers are rough. I made some stomach-soothing porridge. Go have some."
Vivian's eyes lit up at his words.
She looked at his handsome profile in disbelief.
A man as refined as Liam Sullivan knew how to cook?
Liam watched her surprised expression, her slightly parted pink lips.
He couldn't resist pinching her soft cheek.
"Opening your mouth so wide... are you asking me to kiss you?"
Vivian quickly bit her lip, lowering her head in embarrassment.
This man was constantly teasing her.
Liam's low voice sounded slowly. "When I studied abroad, I didn't like the local food. So I learned to cook for myself."
He watched her flustered and embarrassed state.
His tone suddenly turned stern. "You have three minutes to get dressed. Come out and eat."
With that, he turned and left with long strides.
Only then did Vivian belatedly look down at the towel around her.
She was instantly mortified.
Her cheeks burned fiercely.
She hurried into the walk-in closet.
She changed into underwear and a casual outfit before emerging.
When she reached the dining room, Liam was already seated.
A laptop had appeared before him at some point.
He focused intently on the screen, his long fingers flying across the keyboard.
They say focused men are the most attractive.
Vivian had to admit, Liam's serious and cool demeanor was particularly captivating right now.
Liam soon finished his work.
He looked up and saw her in a simple white short-sleeve and denim skirt.
The most ordinary outfit, yet it complemented her clean aura perfectly.
His deep gaze locked onto her slender figure.
A seductive curve lifted the corner of his thin lips.
He felt inexplicably pleased.
"Come here."
Liam's voice was deep and magnetic, unusually tinged with gentleness.
Vivian's heart trembled.
She unconsciously stepped toward him.
