Chapter 341

Ryan Johnson gripped the steering wheel tightly.

His gaze remained fixed on the road ahead.

His tone carried a hint of hesitation. "Sir, regarding Miss Isabella... Should we really not take any action?"

Liam Sullivan looked down at the small woman sleeping soundly in his arms.

His voice was soft as water. "Leave her be. Starting next week, arrange for discreet protection for Vivian Bennett."

...

Vivian woke to the afternoon sun filling the room.

She was startled to find herself in Liam Sullivan's villa.

She glanced around at the familiar furnishings.

She raised a hand to shield her eyes, her heart stirring with ripples of emotion.

How had she slept so deeply that she didn't even feel him bringing her here?

Her entire body felt sore and weak.

She didn't want to move, but she had to get up.

If this continued, both their bodies would suffer.

She needed to find a way to restrain Liam's insatiable behavior.

She couldn't let him have his way anymore.

After showering and changing clothes, Vivian slowly descended the stairs.

The spacious first floor was empty.

She knew without thinking that the man must be in his study.

She gently pushed open the study door.

Liam sat behind the large desk, his expression focused and serious.

His long fingers flew across the keyboard.

She quietly walked up behind him.

She leaned her soft body against his broad back.

Her voice carried the laziness of someone just awakened. "Liam, when did we get here?"

Liam's hands paused slightly.

He turned his head to look at the fair, delicate face resting on his shoulder.

His voice was deep and magnetic. "What's wrong?"

"How did I not feel anything?" Vivian said, angrily pinching his back.

Her strength was like a tickle to Liam.

He chuckled lowly. "You were sleeping so soundly. How would you know?"

Vivian snorted lightly, her cheeks flushing. "I used to be a light sleeper. The slightest noise would wake me. It's because you exhaust me so much that I sleep so deeply now."

Liam knew the little woman was settling accounts again.

He softened his voice. "How would you like me to make it up to you?"

Vivian was caught off guard by his question.

She was momentarily speechless.

How could such a thing be compensated?

She mumbled softly, her face red. "This is too hard on our bodies... From now on, only once per night."

Liam's face immediately darkened.

Was this little woman trying to kill him?

Why would he only eat half-full when the feast was right before him?

A half-starved existence was simply torture.

He slowed his tone, persuading gently. "Vivian, we only see each other once a week. If I don't deliver the full quota, that little head of yours might start imagining things again. What then?"

Vivian's face turned even redder. "Who's imagining things! Precisely because we only see each other once a week, we must learn restraint. Otherwise... otherwise you can spend next week by yourself!"

This was the first time Liam had been so directly threatened.

And he couldn't even refute it.

He looked at Vivian's stubborn little face.

He decided to retreat in order to advance.

If he really pushed her too far and she stood him up on the weekend, that would be a real problem.

He had no choice but to agree softly. "Alright."

But did this old man truly agree in his heart?

Or was he just feigned compliance?

It wasn't until evening, when Liam pinned Vivian to the bed again, that she realized she had been completely deceived.

This man not only showed no restraint, he intensified his efforts.

This vigorous session of exercise directly caused her to sleep until the next afternoon.

Just as she was preparing to settle accounts with Liam, her cousin Grace Harper suddenly called.
