Chapter 344

Vivian Bennett felt completely drained.

Her stamina had always been poor, and after his relentless attention, she couldn't even lift a finger.

Her consciousness grew hazy, wanting only to sink into deep sleep.

Liam Sullivan picked up her soft body and carried her steadily upstairs.

He carefully bathed her and gently placed her on the large bed.

Exhausted, Vivian hugged the quilt and fell into a deep slumber.

Liam finished his shower and looked at the small woman sleeping soundly on the bed.

His sharp, cold features gradually softened.

He leaned down and placed a light kiss on her forehead.

After changing into his suit, he drove to the company.

Ryan Johnson's eyes lit up when he saw the CEO.

Liam was radiant and in an obviously good mood.

"Congratulations, sir, on finally being able to be with Miss Bennett openly and legitimately."

Liam's expression remained neutral, but the corners of his lips lifted slightly.

That day, the executives at Sullivan Group sensed something different.

The usually stern and cold CEO was exceptionally lenient today.

Even subordinates who made mistakes weren't subjected to harsh reprimands.

Vivian and Liam began their official cohabitation.

She would return home after work every day to cook dinner.

No matter how busy he was, Liam would always come home for dinner, unless he had an unavoidable social engagement.

That afternoon, Liam called early.

"I have a business dinner tonight. I won't be home for dinner."

After work, Vivian declined the driver's pick-up.

She took a taxi alone to Sophia Miller's company.

After the receptionist announced her, Sophia glanced at the time in surprise.

She grabbed her bag and hurried to the lobby.

Seeing Vivian sitting there, glowing with vitality, she couldn't help but smile.

"What brings you here?"

Vivian looked at Sophia's radiant appearance and chuckled.

"I missed you. I'd come even without a wind blowing."

She had been too busy lately and hadn't had time to properly meet up with her best friend.

They went to Southern Bistro, enjoyed a delicious meal, and then started singing.

Sophia was a mic hog, refusing to let go once she grabbed it.

They played until after midnight before finally leaving Southern Bistro.

They had just steadied themselves when a black Cayenne slowly pulled up beside them.

Vivian's heart skipped a beat, and the corners of her mouth lifted unconsciously.

Sophia naturally recognized Liam's car.

"Your man is here to pick you up. Go on quickly."

Vivian shyly said goodbye to her best friend and bent down to get into the car.

Liam looked at her flushed little face, his brow furrowing slightly.

"Did you drink again?"

Vivian pursed her lips and reached out to wrap her arms around his.

She leaned against him, her voice soft and pleading. "Just a little bit."

Liam looked at her, both angry and helpless.

Her curved eyes and faint dimples as she smiled made his heart soften.

She clearly had a low alcohol tolerance, yet she dared to drink outside.

He sighed helplessly and pulled her into his embrace.

V buried her face in his chest.

The clean, pleasant scent of him filled her nostrils.

The car was quiet, and the alcohol's effects gradually rose.

Her mind grew fuzzy as she closed her eyes, unconsciously murmuring, "Liam…"

Liam's body stiffened. He looked down at her.

His gaze grew deeper and more intense.

He leaned close to her ear and whispered huskily, "Little temptress, are you trying to seduce me?"

Vivian just felt a ticklish sensation by her ear.

She couldn't help laughing and dodging away. "Move further away…"

Liam gently nibbled on her earlobe.

"If I move further away, how can I let you seduce me?"
