Chapter 412

Brandon White's knuckles turned white as he clutched the will.

The paper crumpled in his palm.

He looked up abruptly.

His bloodshot eyes glared viciously at Vivian Bennett.

"What did you do to Dad?" he spat through gritted teeth. "Did you force him to change the will? He despised you! How could he possibly hand the White family business to you?"

Vivian stood frozen.

She couldn't comprehend this outcome either.

Her lips pressed into a pale, thin line.

Charles Roland watched Brandon's sudden loss of composure and shook his head gently.

"Mr. White, please calm down," he said steadily. "What I just read was only the asset distribution portion of Mr. White's will. He had other final wishes to convey."

"What else could there be?" Brandon shouted hysterically. "Did he have a second White Group hidden somewhere?"

Linda White's eyes were red-rimmed.

She endured the heart-wrenching pain while maintaining her last shred of dignity.

"Brandon, let Mr. Roland finish," she said tremulously. "This was your father's wish. No matter how unfair it seems... we must respect it."

Charles gave Linda an appreciative glance.

He pulled another document from his folder.

"Mr. White had two more matters to address. First, regarding burial arrangements, he purchased a double plot. The space beside him is reserved for his former wife, Mrs. Sophia White née Shen."

He paused, raising the paper in his hand.

"Secondly, this is the paternity test report for Miss Vivian Bennett and Mr. William White. The results show—"

Before he could finish, Brandon snatched the report.

He scanned the pages frantically.

When his eyes reached the final line, he burst into hysterical laughter.

"You bitch!" he screamed at Vivian. "I never expected... never expected this!"

He hurled the report at Vivian.

The paper fluttered through the air before landing at her feet.

Vivian slowly bent down to pick it up.

Her widened eyes fixed on the test results.

Tears instantly overflowed.

A sharp pain pierced through her heart.

Memories flooded back uncontrollably.

William's affection, William's indifference, those beautiful childhood moments and the cruel abandonment...

Her gaze finally settled on the submitter field and the date.

Black text on white paper, clear and glaring.

Submitter: William White

Submission Date: [Date]

It was the exact day her mother had died over a decade ago.

Her father had suspected her parentage all along.

He had secretly conducted the test, knowing she wasn't his biological daughter.

But why hadn't he said anything? Why had he buried this secret for so many years?

"You bitch! You're not a White at all!" Brandon lunged at her madly, grabbing her hair and beating her while cursing. "You've occupied the White heiress position for eighteen years! You made me and my mother suffer endless humiliation!"

"The evidence is right here! You're just a bastard! How dare you inherit the White family business?"
