Chapter 411

Only four people remained in the living room.

Linda White sat upright on the sofa, her fingers clutching the hem of her clothes.

Brandon White sat beside her, wearing a perfectly polite smile.

Vivian Bennett sat alone across from them, her expression detached.

Lawyer Charles opened his briefcase and retrieved a document.

"According to the last will of Mr. William White, I will now read the estate distribution."

He adjusted his glasses, his gaze sweeping over the three of them.

Brandon and Linda exchanged a glance.

Both had faint, almost imperceptible smiles on their lips.

Vivian kept her eyes downcast, her fingertips lightly tapping the sofa armrest.

"Mr. William White owned three properties, four commercial stores, 59% of White Group's shares, and several investment funds."

Lawyer Charles's voice echoed through the spacious living room.

"First, the two townhouses in the western suburbs and the current single-family villa are inherited by his wife, Linda White."

Linda let out a soft exhale.

Brandon patted the back of his mother's hand.

"The flat apartment in the scenic district and the four commercial stores are inherited by his son, Brandon White."

The smile on Brandon's lips widened slightly.

He cast a contemptuous glance toward Vivian.

Vivian remained expressionless.

Lawyer Charles paused and turned to the next page.

"Next is the distribution of White Group's shares."

The air in the living room suddenly grew still.

Brandon straightened his posture.

Linda unconsciously leaned forward.

"Mr. William White left 15% of the shares and all investment funds to Mr. Brandon White."

The smile froze on Brandon's face.

"The remaining 44% of the shares..."

Lawyer Charles took a deep breath.

"Are inherited by Miss Vivian Bennett."

"Additionally, Miss Vivian Bennett will assume the position of General Manager at White Group."

The air seemed to freeze instantly.

Brandon shot to his feet.

"This is impossible!"

He snatched the will document from the lawyer.

His hands trembled as he scanned the black text.

Linda's face turned pale.

"Lawyer Charles, are you certain you haven't made a mistake?"

Her voice was shrill and piercing.

Vivian slowly raised her head.

A flicker of surprise passed through her eyes.

Lawyer Charles calmly retrieved the document.

"This was Mr. White's final decision."

Brandon slammed the document onto the table.

"I don't believe it!"

He pointed at Vivian, his eyes wide with fury.

"How could Father hand the company over to this bitch!"
