Chapter 74
His burning lips brushed past her ear.
Liam Sullivan’s deep voice, wrapped in scorching breath, seeped into her eardrum.
"I want more than just feeding you."
His teeth lightly grazed her tender earlobe.
"I want... to possess you completely."
Vivian Bennett trembled all over.
Her fingertips dug deeply into her palms.
She could hardly believe it.
The esteemed president of Sullivan Group could utter such shameless words.
"Get away from me!"
She shoved his chest away violently.
A layer of humiliated tears welled up in her eyes.
Liam calmly handed her the bowl of congee.
A faint, almost imperceptible smile played on his lips.
Vivian mechanically swallowed the congee.
Only when the bowl was nearly empty did the man's husky voice sound again.
"Are you free tonight?"
Her spine instantly stiffened.
"No!"
Her refusal was sharp and decisive.
She knew all too well what such an invitation implied.
"What about tomorrow night?"
He pressed on patiently.
"Still not free."
Her voice was cold as ice.
Liam suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist.
His scorching breath fanned against her neck.
"When will you be free?"
Vivian bit her lower lip.
She swallowed the harsh words that rushed to her lips.
"I'll contact you... when I'm free."
She forced out the words.
Liam let out a low chuckle.
He was clearly satisfied with this answer.
Vivian finished the last mouthful of congee as if sitting on pins and needles.
"Mr. Sullivan, I need to get to work."
This time, he did not stop her.
He allowed her to stand up and flee.
Vivian almost ran toward the elevator.
Her heart was filled with anxiety and grievance.
Working all night had not earned her a single word of praise.
Instead, she was going to be scolded because of the big boss's harassment.
She did not notice the venomous gaze from the VIP lounge.
Isabella Sullivan stared intently at her retreating figure.
Her nails dug deeply into her palms.
So this vixen was the reason her brother stood her up last night.
So what if she climbed into his bed?
The Sullivan family would never accept such trash.
She smirked coldly and dialed Hannah Green's number.
A malicious curve lifted her red lips.
Vivian ran into the office, panting heavily.
Sure enough, Hannah Green was waiting for her.
"Look at what time it is now?"
Hannah's voice was shrill and piercing.
"I'm sorry, I'm late."
Vivian lowered her head in apology.
"Your perfect attendance bonus for this month is revoked!"
Hannah glared at her viciously.
"If you dare be late again, you're fired!"
