Chapter 310
Vivian Bennett's cheeks flushed pink.
She shot him a playful glare. "You're the pig!"
Liam Sullivan's deep voice held a hint of laughter. "Such a quick reaction? Even if you are a little pig, I still like you."
Vivian pressed her lips together, staying silent.
Her eyes, however, sparkled brightly.
She watched Liam clear the dining table, feeling a little dazed.
This man, who had never done a day of housework in his life, was now focused on domestic chores.
"Let me do that," she said, reaching for the dishes.
Liam gently caught her wrist. "I'll handle it this time. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to help later."
His suggestive words made the tips of Vivian's ears burn.
She fled to the living room, pretending to play on her phone.
Her gaze, however, kept drifting toward the tall, straight-backed figure in the kitchen.
Even while bending over to clean, he carried an innate air of nobility.
It turned out this man could be incredibly attractive in the kitchen, too.
Vivian secretly raised her phone and snapped a picture of his back.
Thankfully, the flash was off. Otherwise, he would have noticed.
Looking at the photo of his profile, she guiltily covered her warm cheeks.
When Liam walked out, she was pretending to be deeply engrossed in a game.
"What are you playing so seriously?" he asked, sitting beside her. His voice was gentle.
Vivian blinked her big eyes. "Snake."
He naturally moved to put his arm around her, but she dodged away.
"You promised not to touch me!" she said, lifting her chin proudly.
Liam chuckled. "Didn't we agree to find another way?"
"I'll tell you when I think of one!" She went back to her game.
He waited until she finished a round before softly suggesting, "We've been cooped up all day. How about a walk?"
"Where to?" She put her phone away.
"Change your shoes." He pulled her to her feet.
The seaside villa district was exceptionally quiet at night.
Liam led her to a private beach.
The sea breeze brushed gently against her face.
Vivian happily played in the surf, splashing through the waves.
When the tide rushed in, she screamed and ran away, her laughter scattering across the entire beach.
Liam followed quietly behind her.
His gaze tenderly followed her joyful figure.
