Chapter 309
Liam Sullivan was completely at a loss when faced with the petite woman's domineering demands.
He had always been composed and self-controlled.
Over thirty years of life experience had given him deep insight into the ways of the world.
He never imagined any woman could affect his state of mind.
Let alone make him lose control in matters of desire.
But Vivian Bennett's appearance completely shattered his self-restraint.
Every time he saw her, he felt as impulsive as a teenage boy.
His craving for her was like an addiction he couldn't break.
Liam chuckled softly and leaned close to her ear. "How about a different form of punishment? Like warming your bed every night, or cooking for you every day?"
"Liam Sullivan, you're utterly shameless!" Vivian glared at him, her cheeks puffed with anger.
He was the one who had asked how she wanted to punish him.
Now he actually had the nerve to bargain.
"Yes, I am shameless." Liam raised an eyebrow defiantly. "A man my age finally gets a taste of passion. How could I easily let you go? If I quit halfway, you might doubt my abilities."
Vivian's face flushed crimson to the tips of her ears. "Don't lie to me! Do you think I don't know about your past one-night stands?"
The thought of his previous romantic affairs made her feel suffocated.
Liam rubbed his temples helplessly.
At his age, he certainly had physical needs.
But all his energy had previously been devoted to work.
He had always disdained women who threw themselves at him.
If not for being drugged that night...
He wouldn't have ended up in bed with her by chance.
That night had been the most exhilarating experience of his life.
Knowing explanations were useless, Liam looked at Vivian's flushed cheeks and said softly, "Before you, there were no other women. You might not believe me, but before meeting you, all my time was spent on work."
Vivian's heart skipped a beat.
No other women?
Then what about Isabella Sullivan's child?
Did it just appear out of thin air?
What exactly was her relationship with Liam?
These thoughts instantly killed her appetite.
Seeing her put down her fork and knife, Liam frowned. "Why aren't you eating?"
Vivian lifted her clear eyes and pressed her lips together. "I'm full."
Liam stubbed out his cigarette, his gaze sharp. "Are you really full, or did something ruin your appetite?"
Vivian nervously clenched the hem of her clothes, unsure how to respond.
Liam chuckled lightly and pinched the tip of her nose. "If you're not full, eat some more. I'll take you somewhere later."
Vivian's heart missed a beat.
Where was he taking her?
"Don't tell me you want to sleep right after eating?"
